And it is still too hot. 107 yesterday, 106 today. UGH! I hate the summer. Anthony has said that so much this last week. You would think that we would get used to it, but it still hasn't happened.
Kaylee's well visit went great last week. She is 66 lbs and 50 3/4 inches tall. Wait a minute!! That's only 14 inces shorter than me. She'll be taller than me very soon. We are planning on getting her signed up for gymnastics or dance here soon. She has slowed down on the activity here recently and I don't want her to end up with the weight curse I have. She should slim down anyway when school starts from being so busy. It's just been to hot to go play outside. Plus there has been an outbreak of crypto at the pools here so we haven't been going there either. Crypto is not a friendly parasite. Lots of losing everything in you, for about 2 weeks. It's not pretty.
I am headed to Tyler this week for my second test and a seminar. Anthony gets to see a Ranger baseball game tonight from a suite. He's so excited. I can officially say that I saw a game in a suite before he did. Like 8 years ago!
Kaylee is starting to get excited about school. I know grandma can't wait for her to start. She has so graciously watched her all summer. I know she's tired by now. Kaylee spent Thursday through Saturday last week with her cousins in Aubrey. She had a blast and went swimming up there and played. It was nice to let her visit them.
Anthony bought his anniversary gift for himself last night. A Wii. He played one of our friends about a week ago and hasn't stopped talking about it since. We all were playing it last night. And Anthony didn't find it too funny that both Kaylee and I beat the pants off of him at bowling. Oh well!! This is going to be a fun game system to have. Finally something we can all play. I guess I got the better end of the deal though. He got a Wii and I got a new ring!! I definitely think I came out ahead!
Well, back to work. Have to get everything done before I go out of town. Love to all. Please send some cooler vibes our way to help with this heat.
